Who is Naturally smarter?

Who is naturally smarter, males or females?

This question has puzzled many people throughout the years and each gender would of course, most likely think that they are smarter than the other. There is debate on who is exactly smarter after comparing one to the other, but the clear advantage I have come up up with after researching the topic is that males are actually smarter than females. Males overwhelmingly took the advantage in just about all categories of the research.

One way of detecting which gender is actually smarter is through tests taking by both genders. In this article titled “Are Men Smarter” tells us that after a study on an I.Q test of college students, males have a 4 to 5 point advantage based on an assessments of general intelligence. This research done is one example of how these type of things are tested through research. It also tells us how men have a higher rating in spatial ability, which for example would be of reading a map, although women have a slight edge in verbal ability. Both genders are quite intelligent actually but men still hold the advantage. It also states how the study “interpreted the SAT results from both the math test (where males do better) and the verbal test (where females do better), focusing on 145 questions that seemed to emphasize general intelligence - also known as the "g factor." It determined how males have a I.Q advantage and how it varies from the different age ranges.

The male advantage does not take over until after puberty, due to the fact that females mature faster than males at a young age, but after years past, this would prove to be very different actually. Because of this fact that females mature after, according to this article “Girls are More Smarter Than Boys but Men are smarter than Women”, the male advantage in intelligence does not appear until after puberty, when boys and girls finish maturing and growing. Boys and girls differ a very lot from the comparison of men and women, due to the huge age difference and maturity level of each as they develop. Maturity does not measure how intelligent one person is compared to another though.

In contrast to education, women do better than males in school in some subjects but not in all of course. One big reason is because women are conscientiousness. Although women do better in the average class work, but when it comes to taking exams, men are much better equipped in handling the pressure and doing better in this. This further explains how the different genders are alike and also different ways. Some wonder if S.A.T scores are an effective way of determining intelligence, while some would agree this is the simple most important way of determining the facts, others differ by saying it is not very affective and determining the different results.

In conclusion, when it is all set and done, men are smarter than females. Maybe not as young kids, but as adults the clear advantage stands with the males.  I am confident in my research, and that it proves quite accurate information, and is just what I expected the results to be. This is one subject I am interested in, and feel it gives a clear explanation on the exact results.
